Governance & Holder Rights
Community-owned means the community decides — and there is no VC block to outvote.
No VC control
MOONX has no venture allocation. There is no investor tranche with preferential terms, no private round at a discount to the public allocation price, and no cliff that dumps into community liquidity. The largest single allocation — 42.27% — is what the public buys.
What holders govern
- Reserve deployment policy — cadence and size of buyback allocations.
- Fee parameters across ecosystem products.
- New product launches and which chains the ecosystem expands to.
- Community and marketing allocation spending.
- Partnership and integration approvals.
Revenue share
Beyond governance, holders are positioned for a share of ecosystem revenue as products mature. The four income streams — reserve treasury yield, buy and burn, airdrops and utility perks, and governance and token share — are designed to compound together rather than compete for the same pool.
Across the ecosystem, engagement is weighted rather than flat. In MoonVault today, a longer staking lock earns more staking weight and a higher vault target mints more MV-Shares.
