MoonVault Overview

MoonVault is a DeFi protocol for automated take-profit vaults: pick an asset, set your exit, and the vault takes profit for you in USDC, with protocol revenue shared back to vaulters and MOONX stakers. Vault what you already hold and set your exit once. While it waits, its MV-Shares can receive USDC dividends when other vaults seal.

What category is MoonVault?

DeFi protocol · automated take-profit vaults · protocol revenue shared with vaulters and MOONX stakers. Launched on PulseChain; built to work on any chain and any tokenisable asset.

Holding for a target price pays nothing until the day you sell — and most people never sell at their target anyway, because the decision arrives at 3am during a candle they weren't watching. MoonVault removes the decision. You lock an asset you already hold, set a take-profit target, and the protocol sells at that target automatically. From the moment you mint, the vault's MV-Shares can also receive USDC from the protocol's dividend lane when other vaults seal, which you claim whenever you like. Open vaults earn no base yield: if nothing seals, there is nothing to receive.

Real transactions, real funds

MoonVault runs on PulseChain mainnet (chain 369). Every mint, seal, termination, stake and claim you sign is a real on-chain transaction with real funds. Phase 1 is vaults, Identity, staking, referral, points & vouchers, and transferable vault positions — launched on PulseChain.

The two things that happen at once

The vault rides to your target

Your deposit locks at your entry price. When the oracle price reaches your take-profit target, the vault is sealed and the gain realised — 80% of it to you (rising to 85% on the closer's ladder: $100+ vaults sealed at target, at most one step a day), less a 0.1%-of-gain keeper tip; 20% (down to 15%) is the protocol fee. No emotion, no missed exit.

MV-Shares while you wait

Minting also mints MV-Shares. Their USDC arrives only when other vaults seal and fees are distributed, credited across every share outstanding, so there is no fixed or daily amount. You claim your USDC dividends whenever you like.

What it is not

  • Not leverage. There is no borrowed capital and no liquidation price. But the asset can fall in value, termination costs a penalty, and the contracts have not had an independent external audit. You can lose what you deposit.
  • Not a lending pool. Your deposit stays in the vault contract until it seals or you terminate. It is not lent out or rehypothecated.
  • Not discretionary. The exit condition is yours, set at mint, and the contract executes it mechanically.
The design principle

Set the exit once and let the contract keep it. A vault earns no base yield; its MV-Shares receive USDC only when other vaults seal. Open vaults of $100 or more also share the vault drip, a variable monthly MOONX pool that is separate from staking. Staking MOONX has its own rewards.
